The newly Mast-R-Lift Excel was a top priority at JessEm. The Mast-R-Lift Excel is their top of the line table. They have added many great features to the Excel we knew our customers would want. In 1999, JessEm Tool invented the Rout-R- Lift. This innovation created a whole new category for the woodworker and in November 2009 was credited in an article by Wood Magazine as one of the top 25 innovations in Woodworking in the past 25 years. The new Mast-R-Lift Excel II is a router table truly in a league of it's own. SMOOTH OPERATION The Mast-R-Lift Excel II is extremely smooth while raising and lowering the lift. They have added doubled sealed bearings to the rotation of the Lift spindle. In fact, the new Mast-R-Lift Excel II has 6 double sealed bearings on the height adjustment mechanism and is actuated through 2 gear boxes. They also wanted the cam lock to be extremely smooth so they added 3 double sealed bearings there as well.. These provide a lifetime of use for your Lift and even with the heaviest router on the market your Excel can be raised and lowered with ease. NEW CAM LOCK All of JessEm’s Lifts have the patented feature of adding tension to the threaded spindle to remove any backlash while adding some resistance to the rotation of the thread. This removed any vibration from the thread clearance and also prevented the spindle from moving and changing your setting while routing. They included this feature once again on the new Mast-R-Lift Excel II. They added a dedicated locking mechanism for heavy duty long term routing operations. Now, not only do you have the patented tensioning feature but we also have added a cam lock that is accessible from the the same location as the crank handle. A simple twist ensures your Excel is locked securely in place giving our customers more confidence that the height is set and locked in place. BEARING THE LOAD The shafts on the Mast-R-Lift Excel II like all our Router Lifts are pressed into a shaft mount with hydraulic pressure. They don’t just thread their shafts to the top plate. By pressing the shafts into a larger diameter mount they are able to attach the shafts to the top plate and fasten in place with more than one screw spreading the lateral load and providing a very rigid and durable mount that will withstand the toughest routing operations. NO BENT WRENCHES Like the current Mast-R-Lift II, bit changes above the table, was a must for all routers that work with the Mast-R-Lift Excel II without the need for special bent wrenches. CNC MACHINED All the machined components on the Mast-R-Lift Excel II are machined on one of their CNC machining centers at their Barrie, Ontario, Canada location. Even the crank handle on the Lift is machined out of solid bar stock and all the aluminum non wear components on the Lift are anodized for appearance, corrosion resistance and some wear resistance. NO DEDICATED ROUTER Many customers have more than one fixed base router, so this new lift is able to fit many of the fixed based routers currently for sale on the market. Now, you can use the new Mast-R-Lift II with more than just one dedicated router. The new Mast-R-Lift II fits every fixed base router we could find on the market right out of the box. The Mast-R-Lift Excel II works with the following router motors: Porter Cable 7518/690/890 Bosch 1617/1618 DeWalt 610/618 Makita 1101 Hitachi M12VC & KM12VC Milwaukee 5625/5615/5616/5619 Craftsman 17543/17540/28190 Rigid R29302. WHAT YOU GET The Mast-R-Lift Excel II comes with a 2" insert ring to reduce the size of the bit opening in the plate and the opening is large enough to accommodate a 3-1/2" diameter bit without an insert installed. The Lifts and Plates all feature their Tab-Loc™ design insert rings which are another JessEm innovation that is common on many other manufacturers’ products today. The Mast-R-Lift Excel II also comes with an insert ring wrench, start pin and all necessary hardware to mount to a JessEm stand and fence. Digital Readout is available separately. The Mast-R-Lift Excel II is a precision piece of engineering that you will be proud to own and find use whenever you are in your work shop. The Mast-R-Fence II features heavy gauge aluminum extrusion construction, red anodized finish, tool less fence face adjustment, built in dust hook up, mounts to extruded t-tracks on the side of the top and features built in scales on the tracks and on top of the fence for quick set up. The Rout-R-Stand our heavy gauge stand featuring square tubing legs, a powder coat finish and heavy gauge leg levelers.

JessEm sets pretty high standards when we develop a new tool. The New Mast-R-Lift II adheres to those strong principles. The Mast-R-Lift II has 5 double sealed bearings, providing a lifetime of use even with the heaviest of routers. All of JessEm's lifts have the patented feature of adding tension to the threaded spindle to remove backlash, vibration, and preventing setting changes while routing. JessEm went one step further with the Mast-R-Lift II. A new dedicated locking mechanism for heavy duty, long term routing operations was added, accessible from the top of the top surface and is engaged with the same crank handle used to raise and lower the Lift. The Mast-R-Lift II also fits most fixed base routers on the market today without the use of an adaptor collar. The unique clamping blocks on the Mast-R-Lift II enable users to use different fixed base routers with the Lift as opposed to dedicating a router. All of our top plates on our Lifts are hard anodized. This process is several times more expensive but we want the Mast-R-Lift II to provide many years of service. Hard anodizing is an engineered surface treatment and not just a cosmetic sulphuric treatment that will wear off. The shafts on the Mast-R-Lift II, like all of JessEm's Lifts are pressed into a shaft mount with hydraulic pressure. We don't just thread our shafts to the top plate. By pressing the shafts into a larger diameter mount we are able to attach the shafts to the top plate and fasten in place with more than just one screw spreading the lateral load and providing a very rigid and durable mount that will withstand the toughest routing operations. The Mast-R-Lift II provides for above the table bit changes for all routers without the need for bent wrenches. All the machined components are machined on one of their CNC machining centers in Barrie, Ontario Canada, and all the aluminum non wear components are anodized for appearance, corrosion resistance and some wear resistance. Exclusive Cam Locking System Double sealed bearing construction Bit Changes above the table for all routers Machined from 3/8-Inch solid aluminum and Hard Anodized for durability Fits most fixed base routers on the market today

routrlift2_10.jpg JessEm Rout R Lift II
JessEm wanted the new Rout-R-Lift II to be as smooth as our new Mast-R-Lift II while raising and lowering your Lift. They decided to add a double sealed bearing to the spindle making it very smooth. This provides a lifetime of use for your Lift and even with the router installed your Lift can be raised and lowered with one finger. BEARING THE LOAD! The shafts on the Rout-R-Lift II, like all our Router Lifts, are pressed into a shaft mount with hydraulic pressure. They don’t just thread our shafts to the top plate. The owner of JessEm spent many years as a Tool and Die maker before founding our company, and cutting corners was not an option. By pressing the shafts into a larger diameter mount we are able to attach the shafts to the top plate and fasten in place with more than one screw spreading the lateral load and providing a very rigid and durable mount that will withstand the toughest routing operations. NO BENT WRENCHES! Like the current Mast-R-Lift II, bit changes above the table was a must for all routers that work with this lift without the need for special bent wrenches. CNC MACHINED All the machined components on the Rout-R-Lift II are machined on one of their CNC machining centers at their Barrie, Ontario, Canada location. Even the crank handle on the Lift is machined out of solid bar stock. WHAT YOU GET! The Rout-R-Lift II comes with a 2" insert ring to reduce the size of the bit opening in the plate and the opening is large enough to accommodate a 3-1/2" diameter bit without an insert installed. Our Lifts and Plates all feature our Tab-Loc™ design insert rings which are another JessEm innovation that is common on many other manufacturers’ products today. JessEm invented the Lift because they too are woodworkers. Adjusting a router in a table mounted operation was very difficult to do accurately before the first Router Lift in 1999. Now they have developed a Lift with features, built in accuracy and ease of use that we would want ourselves and at a cost that every woodworker can afford. The Rout-R-Lift II is a precision piece of engineering that you will be proud to own and find use whenever you are in your work shop.
