Jessem Rout R Lift FX FITS (PORTER CABLE 690 & 890 SERIES, BOSCH 1617 & 1618 SERIES, DEWALT 610, 616 & 618 SERIES)

As many woodworkers already know, multi-base router kits are becoming extremely popular today. Now the traditional fixed base router with a removeable motor has evolved into various kit options that include an interchangeable router motor, a fixed base, a plunge base and some manufacturers have also added a "D" base option.
The JessEm Mast-R-Lift was originally designed to be used with the removeable 3HP motor from a fixed base Porter Cable 7518. Then we offered adapter collars for the smaller 2HP motor diameters to fit our Mast-R-Lift's carriage.
The problem for many 2HP router users has been the cost of a Mast-R-Lift plus the adapter collar exceeds the price of their 2HP router.
As much as they wanted to experience the benefits of a precision height adjustment system they could not justify the price.
Now we have come up with a great solution, the all new Rout-R-Lift FX for 2HP fixed base router motors! Now you get all the great benefits of a Mast-R-Lift at a 2HP price!
The Rout-R-Lift FX offers above the table height adjustment and bit changes as well as the unsurpassed accuracy of a JessEm Lift. The Rout-R-Lift FX offers comparable quality and performance at a very affordable price. Our New Cam-Lock Clamp design works great for quick and easy Plug'N'Rout motor changes, the Rout-R-Lift FX is fast becoming the "Ultimate Base" for interchangeable 2HP router motors!

JessEm Rout R Lift II
JessEm wanted the new Rout-R-Lift II to be as smooth as our new Mast-R-Lift II while raising and lowering your Lift. They decided to add a double sealed bearing to the spindle making it very smooth. This provides a lifetime of use for your Lift and even with the router installed your Lift can be raised and lowered with one finger.
BEARING THE LOAD!
The shafts on the Rout-R-Lift II, like all our Router Lifts, are pressed into a shaft mount with hydraulic pressure. They don’t just thread our shafts to the top plate. The owner of JessEm spent many years as a Tool and Die maker before founding our company, and cutting corners was not an option. By pressing the shafts into a larger diameter mount we are able to attach the shafts to the top plate and fasten in place with more than one screw spreading the lateral load and providing a very rigid and durable mount that will withstand the toughest routing operations.
NO BENT WRENCHES!
Like the current Mast-R-Lift II, bit changes above the table was a must for all routers that work with this lift without the need for special bent wrenches.
CNC MACHINED
All the machined components on the Rout-R-Lift II are machined on one of their CNC machining centers at their Barrie, Ontario, Canada location. Even the crank handle on the Lift is machined out of solid bar stock.
WHAT YOU GET!
The Rout-R-Lift II comes with a 2" insert ring to reduce the size of the bit opening in the plate and the opening is large enough to accommodate a 3-1/2" diameter bit without an insert installed. Our Lifts and Plates all feature our Tab-Loc™ design insert rings which are another JessEm innovation that is common on many other manufacturers’ products today.
JessEm invented the Lift because they too are woodworkers. Adjusting a router in a table mounted operation was very difficult to do accurately before the first Router Lift in 1999. Now they have developed a Lift with features, built in accuracy and ease of use that we would want ourselves and at a cost that every woodworker can afford. The Rout-R-Lift II is a precision piece of engineering that you will be proud to own and find use whenever you are in your work shop.
